After 25 years of experience in the scale modeling world, I grew tired of making do or not being able to find the right piece to make my projects the way I wanted. I began to create my own pieces and found that I was able to make the projects that I dreamed of. The end result was what I envisioned, not just making do.
I take great pride in the quality and realism of my work, and know other modelers do the same. So, I started this company to fill the void of materials that are needed to build the perfect diorama.
Focusing on unique, custom and hard to find pieces allows me to offer a quality product at competitive pricing. I also make most of our pieces modular, This offers much more versatility and interchangeability. The majority of our products are from the WWII era, in 1/35th scale.
However, most of our products can be used for other eras, and we are always willing to do custom work in other scales and time frames. Also, while most of what you currently see on the site is military, we are hoping to broaden our scope to include
urban, law enforcement, off road vehicles, big rigs, and outdoor pieces. Our products are primarily oriented towards the modeler who wants to build their own scenes and who does their own paint and finish work…although we do offer some completed pieces for immediate gratification.
If there is something in particular that you are seeking, please go to our contacts page and send me an email and we can work together to create the product to meet your needs. At Smith Military Modeling we strive to make our customers happy and help you make the diorama of your dreams…
